We really enjoyed our stay, the owners were very welcoming and informative about things to do and see. Food at the pub next door, The Sun Trevor was amazing each night and the staff there made us feel so welcome and at home. We enjoyed the quiz night despite coming last! Beds really comfy, nice shower. Lots of lovely walks nearby. Only couple of small negatives we could think of was the settee wasnt big enough to seat 4 comfortably and we found that the hot tub wasnt hot enough. We did stay in very cold weather but we didnt have the option to turn it up and it did put us off going in.

Great place to stay cottage was very clean and owner was really helpful about the property and where to go to get the best experience. Canal was just across from the property and it was a lovely walk down the canal to Llangollen or the Aquaduct. Llangollen itself was brilliant and we had the added extra bonus of the food festival which was amazing. Cottage was next to a pub so no need to do any cooking if you didn't want to and also dog friendly. Would hope to go back at some point in the future. We had a very happy holiday.

Our stay at barn one was a relaxing time,everything was just as we wanted,the only downside was the hot tub as this was not very private the holidaymakers in barn two and three were overlooking the hot tub.

Our stay with Sun Trevor has been excellent. The owners were very welcoming and very friendly. The location itself was also excellent which overlooks the Llangollen canal, the bus services run regularly or its just a short walk into town. There is also the pup on site which serve up good food .The cottage was very clean and and well stocked for when you arrive, the beds were also comfortable ensuring a good nights sleep. Had a lovely stay at Sun Trevor barn 1 from 20th to 23rd of May. Very clean and hot tub was fab. Lovely view and literally just over the road from the canal walkway either to Llangollen town or the aquaduct. The pub Sun Trevor was lovely and the food really nice, they even brought it over to us in the barn. The only comment I would make is that the property is located just above a really busy road so if you were looking for a very peaceful location then you may be a bit disappointed but if that doesn't bother you then I would definitely recommend and would visit again

We had a lovely stay at the Sun Trevor Barn1. It was clean comfortable & had everything we needed.. Katy and Paul are marvellous hosts and really care that their guests enjoy their stay. Ideally situtated opposite the canal for walks to LLangollen or towards Pontcysyllte. If you don't want to use the car there's a bus stop right outside for travel in either direction.. Add to that the entrance to the pub is 25 yards away for excellent meals and drinks.. Recommended..

We had a fabulous stay. The property was delightful and in a great spot for exploring its location. The hosts and all the staff in the adjoining pub were warm and friendly. Great food especially the home made chips and well kept cask ale. Couldn't really ask for more!

I spent a week for my 60th Birthday at Trevor Barn 1 with my husband, brother and sister in law and I can honestly say we all had an absolutely wonderful time. From the moment we arrived Katy & Paul could not be more helpful . They are such lovely hosts. The Barn was everything that was described and more ... Very clean, very comfortable , very homely, very warm and well equipped. The hot tub was amazing just what we needed after our lovely scenic long walks . And the iceing on the cake was the absolute delicious food that was served in katy & Paul's pub . We took food with us but ended up eating in the pub 4 nights out of the 7 as the meals were definitely 10 out of 10 and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly . We can truly recommend Trevor Barns and we will be back ... Jan , Cliff, Sue & Dave x

He was always ready with some information and tips for parking or where to go, his help was brilliant. We just spent 5 days at Barn 1. All we can say is WOW. Even though it is quite close to home the plan was for a relaxing holiday. Everything from the location, the pub next door, and the quality of the Barn is spot on. It is an amazing location for walkers also. If you are having friends come over make sure you contact the owners so that they can arrange the parking. 1010 for us.

Just returned from a fabulous stay at Barn 1. The setting was beautiful overlooking the countryside and even nicer viewing it from the spacious hot tub. The pub next door to barn 1 called the sun trevor had really nice pub food which you was home cooked and the sun always shone on the pub which was lovely to sit at. The owners of barn 1 were very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. Would definitely book again.

We had a lovely time, the cottage was beautiful, everything we needed and more was there and availabletouse, utensils, tv, alexa, coffee machine etc. .. Hot tub was a lovely added bonus. Having the gate and the patio area was also such a bonus, being able to let mia out and to wonder free and not worry where she was, was such a relief. One thing we did notice on a few occasions was a slight drainage smell. Definitely reccomend a visit to the pub next door, amazing food, and such lovely and welcoming staff, they even have a doggie menu! Thank you for a lovely stay.

We have had a wonderful weekend. Paul and Katie welcomed us with a smile and looked after us all weekend. The cottage has everything you need including comfy beds, under floor heating and towels for showering and the hot tub. So much thought has gone into making it a comfortable stay. Such a great break away. We hired the barn with hot tub, which was perfect and has views of Welsh hills. We brought our dog Tilly with us, the pub next door owners of the property is very dog friendly and even have their own pub dog named Poppy! This is our second time staying in barn 1 i would highly recommend going there its like home to home so comfortable and cosy all your your self catering supplys are available there. The hot tub is amazing always ready to go whenever it suits you. The pub next door also owed by the owner also sell amazing food to eat in or take away so the options there if you didnt want to cook everyones so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a perfect stay at the Barn. The was clean tidy and warm. It's ideally located, with plenty of parking and amenities near by, but also has that feeling of seclusion.
