Luxury Lodge 69 Reviews

Certainly not luxury. No dishcloth, 1 soap between 3 sinks, broken radiator, broken TV, no table or chairs by the hot tub, no coffee table inside, no cafetier, no bin bags provided, very very basic facilities in the lodge. Despite the issues with the lodge we still had a nice time but probably wouldn't return.
Denise
Lovely lodge, excellent facilities and hospitality. The Christmas decorations both indoors and outdoors just add to the ambience. The pool and gym areas are very clean well decorated and excellent facilities. Looking forward to returning.
Luxury lodge 69 was so lovely, and all facilities were brilliant. Its a nice cozy place to spend a few days relaxing. The onsite restaurant we found was very overpriced for not the best quality food, and there wasnt much variety. However there are plenty of takeaways around RhylPrestatyn. Cooking facilities consisted of a microwave, toaster and kettle, no cooker. We definitely thought that the lodge would benefit from a roll of bin bags left in the cupboard, and potentially a bin in every room. Other than that, it was a perfect few days away!
Catherine
Had a great stay at the Marion Resort and Spa . . like other reviews the kitchen facilities are very limited.. this was outlined in the lodge description.. so we were prepared and took our air fryer! There are plenty of places nearby to get provisions or to eat out. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was amazing. Just a heads up .. if you visit the Sports Bar with children.. fruit shoots are 3 each .. needless to say the children only had one!! We will definitely be back x
We had an absolutely lovely stay in our lodge, the facilities and location are absolutely stunning and I would definitely recommend to anyone. Just a couple of issues we had, the lodge was generally clean but there were quite a lot of cobwebs in corners and doorways when we looked closely, a little more attention to detail with the cleaning would be good. We were celebrating my friends hen do and we're disayri find out that on both nights of our stay the cocktail bar was booked for a private function and we couldn't use it. This was not mentioned to me when I booked and if we've paid to use all the facilities then we should be able to, it's not cheap to stay here. And finally on our first morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast and the man greeted us and asked for our lodge number and my name. As there were no menus and prices anywhere we then questioned whether this breakfast was included as part of our stay. When we were finished we asked a waitress who told us it was 14.95 each. This should really be advertised as we would not have paid this had we known.
Simone
We stayed in Lodge 69. It was lovely and warm when we arrived and everything was fresh and clean. Although the hot tub didnt heat up on the first night it was spotless and ready for the next day. The only thing missing was a tea towel to dry the cutlery and crockery. We ate in the sports bar and it was very good. All the staff were chatty and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.
Fantastic site with excellent gym, pool, sauna & steam room included. Hot tub was excellent but a gate to get into this for daily checks would have been nice rather than the maintenance people coming through our bedroom for access. Bars & restaurants on site are good. As lodges only have microwave, toaster & kettle a shop isnt necessary but would have been handy to be able to purchase bread, milk & basics on site.
Lorraine
Clean and comfortable, lovely having a private hot tub. Facilities on site very good for a relatively small site pool, steam room, sauna, gym plus four places to eat and drink. Very good value for money. Great area to explore in north Wales. We did miss having a hob or traditional oven but aware of this prior to arrival. Microwave combi and toaster available. Hot tub checks done daily by site staff but on two occasions we came back to the lodge to find the back access door had not been locked despite having reported this on the first occasion to reception. Lovely break overall and would come back. Thank you
Small teething problems such as broken shower rail and toilet seat fixed straight away by estates. Small table would be good in seating area for placing drinks on of an evening. Washing up liquid not supplied which would have been useful. A recurring theme amongst all staff from each department seemed to be friendly and helpful, regardless of if it was their area to support in. A fantastic ethos to encounter, it elevated our stay. The stay was in a league of it's own, due to fantastic staff and the gorgeous environment, with fittings and furnishings. We will be repeating the stay in the coming months. From the easy booking service through Sykes, to the return of our lifeguard keys, it felt like a luxury holiday.

The cabin was immaculately clean and exquisitely furnished. The environment, surrounding hills and rocks was quite naturesque. The spa, pool and sauna did it for me though. Mgt then offered me a 20 discount for further visits. Premium Value! Definitely going back.
Christine
Had a great family holiday . Good location and near to seaside towns . The resort itself was really nice although there were lots of families and seemed to be fully booked it was very quiet and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable and we had good nights sleep . We will be back !
