Y Daflod Reviews

We had a fantastic time at Y Daflod! The house is well-equipped and perfect for our family, ranging from 11 to 80 years old. Our dogs loved the secure garden, which was a big plus. The games barn kept us entertained with table tennis and badmintonand the hot tub was just what we needed. Stunning countryside views too, though the lanes are quite narrow to get there! Would definitely return.
James
The place is stunning and has all we needed. Eirian and her family were really helpful and quick to respond. They even let the grandkids visit the farm, which was lovely. We’d definitely come again!
Sarah
Beautiful stay, would definitely come back again!
Claire
The property was stunning, very well equippedand we truly enjoyed our stay here.
Emma
We’ve visited this place a few times now and honestly, we’re already planning to come back. The house is stunning and nestled in such a lovely part of Wales, it’s perfect for everyone, even our furry friends. The variety of things to do nearby is great - make sure you check out that secret stream under the bridge, it’s a good place! The place really does feel like a home away from home, from the youngest at three weeks to the oldest at 85, everyone enjoys it. Can’t wait for next year!
Emma
Our stay at Y Daflod was fantastic! The house was so cosy and spotless when we arrivedand the views truly took our breath away. We loved the hot tub, ping pongand BBQ. We’ll definitely be booking again soon-can’t wait to return!
Emma
The Cottage is lovely - plenty of space inside and out. The garden is securely fenced, which was perfect for our dogs. Kids had heaps of room to run aroundand the barn was a nice surprise!
Emma
We had a fantastic week! The location is stunningand the cottage was super comfortable with everything we needed. Our dog felt right at home too, which was a huge bonus. Definitely recommend!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely cottage. Plenty of room for everyoneand having two separate living areas was perfect for relaxing. The hot tub and table tennis were a big hit! Definitely would recommend it for a fun week away.
Emma
We absolutely loved this place! The hot tub and table tennis outside made it really funand the bedroom balcony offered breathtaking views. The cosy log burner was great in the evenings. Everything you need is hereand honestly, those few narrow roads are totally worth it for the peace and scenery. Definitely recommend!

We loved this place! It's a spacious barn conversion perfect for groups, offering quiet spots or lively areas downstairs without disturbing each other. The fixtures are really high quality and look fantastic. We enjoyed the hot tub and table tennis outside with stunning valley views. It’s a bit remote on single-lane roads, but if you’re careful, it’s no trouble. Snowdonia’s 50 mins, Rhyl’s 20 mins-ideal retreat. Definitely coming back!
Alex
Really enjoyed the peaceful setting and the hot tub, even in the rain. Plus, our dog loved exploring the friendly grounds. Would recommend!
Martin
Overall, we really enjoyed the house, especially the hot tub and the table tennis barn, which are fantastic. The only letdown was no welcome pack at all-no milk or anything. Bathroom towels were tinyand no robes for the hot tub either. Could be perfect!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house was spotlessly clean and had a warm, welcoming vibe. Perfect location for exploring Llandudno and Conwy. Also, the local pub, The Hide and Buckle, served up some cracking food. Definitely recommend!
Emma
We loved the charming cottage-so well decorated and comfy! The outdoor barn and table tennis kept us entertained. It’s peaceful with lovely viewsand getting to beaches or inland spots in North Wales was a breeze, just about half an hour away. Highly recommend!
James
Lovely place with a perfect spot for exploring local villages and beaches. The outdoor area is secure for dogsand the hot tub is a real treat after a day out. We’d stay again!
Emma Clarke
We loved the spacious layout and stunning views. Parking was plentifuland staying on a working farm was a real treat, especially watching the sheep. A couple of small issues came up, but Mrs Roberts sorted them out quickly. Would definitely come back!
Emma
Honestly, this place is brilliant! The house itself is gorgeous and has everything we could possibly need. But what really stole the show were the views-simply breathtaking. The outdoor space kept us busy, whether it was ping pong or chilling in the hot tub. Had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back for more!
Emma
The place was lovely with plenty of parking. It’s really spacious and well kitted out. Once we tidied up and topped up the balls, table tennis was a hit!
Emma
We stayed at this charming cottage and really enjoyed it. The place was spotlessly keptand the grounds felt very safe for our dogs-they loved running around freely. The beds were super comfyand the showers, especially the rain heads, made mornings much better. We made good use of the hot tub and outdoor barn area, even in the chilly Christmas weather. Parking was plentiful, which was a relief. We also walked about 30 minutes to a cosy pub and had a lovely meal there. Lovely stay overall!
