About Ty Ucha

This fantastic property, situated in a peaceful rural location just 1 mile from Llannefydd, is the perfect holiday home for families and groups of friends that are looking for a little bit of luxury for their next stay. Sleeping eight across four beautiful bedrooms, this 16th century gentry house retains many original features and blends them with the contemporary. Spend the afternoon on Abergele Beach (8 miles) before coming home for a bit of relaxation in your private hot tub on the patio while the children run around on the lawn. The property is full of exposed stone walls and wooden beams that give it its charm. The ground-floor king-size bedroom takes full advantage of these, with pastel decor creating an elegant feel; a contemporary en-suite shower room and Smart TV make this one of the most desired bedrooms. Also on the ground floor, a handy utility room leads to another shower room before you get to the incredible kitchen. A perfect blend of oak beams, tiled floors and industrial styling make it a pleasure to cook in here or grab a quick breakfast around the kitchen island. Move through to eat in the stunning dining room with vaulted ceilings, exposed stone walls and floor-to-ceiling windows looking out across the fields. In the summer months, sizzle up a BBQ and dine alfresco on the patio before hopping in the hot tub; there’s an outside shower to rinse off before and after you get in. For peace and quiet after dinner, curl up in front of the wood burner in the lounge, surrounded by calming country-style decor and furnishings, and read a book or watch the Smart TV. At bedtime, head upstairs to the tranquil first-floor bedrooms; there’s a king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite bathroom, while a further king-size bedroom has a Juliet balcony and en-suite shower room. The second floor takes you up to the main suite; head up the stairs into a gorgeous bathroom area with roll-top bath then make your way through the restricted-height doorway into a beautiful king-size room with Smart TV and stunning views of the countryside. Head off to the beaches at Colwyn Bay (13.5 miles) and Rhyl (9 miles), or wander the cobbled streets of Conwy or Llandudno’s Victorian pier (both 19 miles). From here take a walk up the Great Orme (22.5 miles) for breathtaking sea views, or take the cable car for a more leisurely trip. Popular attractions for the kids include Welsh Mountain Zoo (15 miles) and Zip World Fforest (20 miles).

Emma
We stayed at this house recently and honestly, it was just what we needed. The place is super spacious and really cosy, especially with the underfloor heating which everyone loved-dogs included! Cooking on the electric aga was a breezeand having a dishwasher was a real plus. The hot tub had been emptied for cleaning, so it was warming up when we arrived, which was fair enough. The location is perfect, close to Ruthin and Denbigh, with plenty of walks and a nice village pub nearby. All in all, a lovely stay!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay at this cosy place, perfect for four couples. The location was spot on for exploring North Walesand the hot tub was just the best after long days!
Oliver
This place is a real gem! The cottage is huge, peacefuland super cosy. Loved the hot tub after long days. Hosts were lovely and very helpful. We had an awesome holiday!
Emily
We loved the place! It’s beautifully situated in a quiet spot but still close enough to plenty of activities. The house was super spacious and really comfortable, with a stylish yet functional lounge, dining areaand kitchen. The garden was perfect for our dogs, who enjoyed the fenced space and nearby fields. The hot tub was definitely a highlight-probably one of the best we’ve used. Beds were comfyand showers excellent. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
Oliver
Beautiful place, it truly stood out and made our family trip unforgettable!

We had a lovely stay at this spacious cottage tucked away in the peaceful Welsh countryside. Perfect for our group and our dog, thanks to the enclosed garden. The hot tub was a real bonus after long days exploring. The location was decent, though those narrow lanes can be a bit intimidating with some wild drivers around! The kitchen was well stockedand we appreciated the clean towels for the en-suites and hot tub area. Having a washing machine and tumble dryer was handy too. Mr & Mrs Roberts were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.
Emma

We had a really lovely time! The cottage was in a prime spot, close to everything. Each bedroom had its own en-suiteand the king-sized beds were super comfy. The place was spotless - definitely exceeded our cleanliness expectations. The host was friendly and helpful, making us feel very welcome. Can't wait to come back!

The cottage was gorgeous, nestled in stunning scenery. Every one of us had a king-size bed with en suite, which is pretty rare! The place was spotless and spacious, great for kids to play inside and out. The hot tub was just perfect!

We had a lovely stay at this property, despite the crazy weather with storms Isha and Jocelyn hitting during our visit! The location is spot onand the house itself feels really cosy and spacious-perfect for our family with a 5-month-old. We didn’t go out much, mainly because of the weather, but the place is well-equippedand the advice on how to get there was spot on, especially since some roads weren’t gritted. The high winds limited our hot tub time, but honestly, we found plenty to keep us entertained. We’ll definitely return!
Emma

We had an amazing week with seven of us and the place was just perfect. The location was stunning and we loved the underfloor heating along with the log fire-so cosy! The owner was super helpful, even bringing logs when we needed them. The beds were really comfy and the house felt so spacious and well-equipped. The hot tub was a real treatand the local pub owned by the same family served some of the best steaks we've ever had. We’d definitely come back!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming farmhouse! There’s heaps of space, from parking to the inside facilities, so everyone was comfortable. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, with plenty of outdoor area to enjoy. The furnishings are lovelyand the kitchen felt just like home. The hot tub was a real highlight-so warm and inviting. Shame about the weather stopping us from making the most of the outside, but overall, it was a brilliant family break. Thanks a lot!
Emma
