Property was lovely and so was the site until Saturday evening when trouble started outside with a man not only assaulting me but women for no reason what so ever no security in sight! ! Police had to come and deal with the situation. Because of this I'm not sure I'd go back but the property itself was exactly as described.

Everything is perfect with this place only two downsides 1st no cooker in cabin and it's always bissy in the pool anymore than 3 people init at a time and your abit to close to each other and always loads of people sitting by the pool watching you and the restaurant has big glass windows so there can see straight in pool so I only got two go in twice out of seven days as always full of people apart from that locationcomfortpubfoodgymhottub is fantastic shops are close anoth to walk to

The property is listed as luxury but it really isnt luxury, infact its very basic, the place was not cleaned properly there were bits all over the carpets and the laminate in the kitchen was sticky the very least you expect anywhere is cleanliness, the place is dog friendly and you can tell its not often deep cleaned as when my dogs ball rolled under the sofa and we lifted it to get it there were other dog balls under both sofas and lots of dirt, also lots of dirt in the twin room this room definitely had not been vacuumed. The place is lacking general homely touches such as a coffee table or side table, it could do with a lamp in the living room as the lights are so bright they are blinding when trying to relax on an evening, it needs some coat pegs near the door as there is nowhere to hang your coats at all, also some hooks in the shower room and on the back of doors to hang your clothes and towels would be very useful, it has no kind of home comforts which make the place very basic and overpriced for what it is, there should also be a lock on the main bathroom door for a place which is shared for 6 people anyone can walk in, the door opens out into the kitchen so you cant even put your foot infront of it when using the toilet, it doesnt make you feel relaxed at all, and toilet brushes would also be useful, we had to go out and buy some. We were only given small bath towels in the lodge but when at the spa you get a large bath sheet so we requested some for the lodge, this should be standard in a luxury place, there were also no bath mats which are needed as the floor gets soaked in the main bathroom when showering, and also no hand towel in the kitchen so bring your own, you cant cook in here which we knew already but the restaurants and bars were very expensive to be eating out every night, you dont expect a luxury place to feel almost like your camping but we had to take our own cooking facilities as there is none in the lodge. The pool area and resort was lovely and well maintained its just a pity the food and especially the drinks are so overpriced, its also a pity the accommodation wasnt up to standard. We did enjoy the hot tub this was lovely and relaxing but we kept getting disturbed by the maintenance man wanting to check the hot tub, they have no way of getting to it without coming through your accommodation and through the bedroom they should have put a gate outside for access. All in all there are much better real luxury properties on offer. So I would not recommend this place.

The property was ideal for myself and three friends to stay for the week. The property could have slept six. There isnt cooking facilities other than a toaster and microwave but this wasnt a problem for us. Definitely recommend taking additional toilet roll and hand soap and shampoo, because there wasnt soap in one of the toilets. If you have a lot of rubbish, you might also need bin bags, there wasnt any extra other than what was in the two bins. Also, there isnt direct parking right next to the lodge. You have to park and walk, so consider how much youre taking because it might take a few trips to and from the car.

The lodge was great, the heater did come off the wall in one of the rooms though. We reported the day it happened, but no one came by to fix.

This Spa could be so much more. I really don't know where to start. My stay consisted of myself, husband child of 12 and 2 elderly parents in their 80s. After a speedy, courteous check in we were shown by map where our lodge was situated, note to anyone with a disability the parking can sometimes be a distance from the car parking area to you lodge was even more of a headache when you have to unpack and make 10 journeys with all you luggage!! Initial look of the lodges and surroundings were really lovely, and well presented. However when we started to unpack and put things away, we immediately noticed that the kitchenette, that is advertised is merely a micorwavecooker toaster and kettle how you are supposed to prepare a meal in this was mindboggling, that said there were insufficient plates, bowls etc, no larger bowls to cook anything in microwavecooker, no chopping boards, sharp knives, wooden spoons, even a tea towels was none existent etc you get the picture like nothing!! I asked reception for these utensils response was microwave was solely for warming food up?! I did state that it was a microwavecooker but was informed that they didn't have anything like this, we were given more crockery, and they tried with larger pasta bowls but that was it. We then noticed we didn't have any robes to use the spa, so again went to reception and asked, housekeeping did bring some along and apologised stating they would bring some of the slippers the next day, this never happened! The lodge looked dirty cobwebs in the shower areas, cigarette butts where the hot tub is at the back of the lodge, there was a brush and dust pan no hoover to clean any spills up. I asked housekeeping how did we get our towels changed I was informed that we had to ask for housekeeping and they would sort this. This never happened. In my parents room there was no blindcurtains at their bedroom window not what you want when undressing etc again went to reception this was rectified the next day. The mess from the drilling on the wall was never cleaned away bits of brick dust etc on the floor and nothing to clean it away with again asked for housekeeping never came. Now into day 2 of our 7 night stay and we had a blocked drain in our walk in shower room, the water was pouring into the lounge area, which we had to mop up with towels, my husband spoke to 4 members of staff over 2 days to ask for this to be rectified, and for all the dirty towels to be removed and given clean ones shower drain was eventually unblocked however the towels were simply pushed into the other corner of the bathroom and no clean ones replace nor did the housekeeping clean the bathroom from the dirty water!! I had to carry all the dirty towels to reception collect clean ones and raise my concern that this was not good enough! We again spoke to staff that they was a leak on the kitchen sink and the ensuite bathroom sink noone came, and to be honest got sick of going back and forwards to ask for clean towels. At no one given time did any member of housekeeping refresh clean towels, mop the floors hoover around or remove the rubbish I may add that there was nowhere to place you household rubbish so once again my husband had to carry and find a larger kitchen bin which was situated around the kitchen area of the spa!! At the end of our stay another visitor had disposed of there household rubbish pizza boxes etc was strewn all over the lawns in front of us and seagulls and birds were feeding at a frenzy! There was ants and on our 5 night stay when looking at how bad the leak was under the kitchen sink, noticed we had had a visitor in the form of a mouse!! The spa itself was lovely and so were the staff we had encountered, however our stay was really spoilt due to the lack of cleanliness, and constant back and forth with reception. Would never return no would I recommend.
The Lodge is in a beautiful location however there is no way that the place had been cleaned , the floor was dirty and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned as there was hairs in the shower and sink. Cob webs and spiders were all over the place , in the showers in every corner of every room looked like this hadn't been cleaned for a while with the state of some of the webs. There were also ants everywhere, we spent hours boiling the kettle to try and get rid of them as they were entering the lodge everytime we opened the door. The sports bar was nice inside but they had run out of pies when it was pie night. Which disappointed me and the family.
The property was great modern refurbishment done to a high standard. The hot tub was being fitted as we were leaving this will be a great addition to the cabin. Spa has the and bars again modern and of high standard. The property wound benefit from a patio decking area The electric tripped out a number of times. .
Lovely accommodation very clean spa very clean friendly staff beautiful grounds
