About Bwthyn Beci

With its stylish and colourful interiors, sunny courtyard garden and outdoor hot tub, this detached holiday home offers a luxurious base for visitors to St Asaph. Nestled at the heart of one of Britain’s smallest cities, this two-bedroom abode provides ample accommodation for four guests, making it ideal for a family break or a getaway with friends. After fun-filled days exploring cultural and historic sites, enjoying windswept coastal walks and picturesque country trails, this delightful property offers a charming space to rest and recharge. Light and spacious throughout, this chic and elegant cottage features a neutral colour scheme enlivened with bold pops of colour and artworks of the natural world. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is a warm and welcoming space that invites sociable evenings in. Rustle up delicious meals in the handsome fitted kitchen, and settle around the dining table to wine, dine and chat together. Make the most of warm weather in the enclosed courtyard garden, whether dining al fresco, curling up with your current read on the outdoor sofas, or bubbling beneath the stars, glass of wine in hand. Alternatively fill the air with laughter and chatter as you enjoy quality time with your loved ones in the relaxing lounge. When bedtime calls, choose between two distinctive bedrooms: a ground-floor king-size room with en-suite shower room, or a first-floor super-king-size with a freestanding bathtub and en-suite shower room. Designated a city for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, St Asaph is home to reputedly the smallest ancient cathedral in Britain; this striking building houses the William Morgan Bible, the first bible translated into Welsh. Host to the North Wales International Music Festival, numerous walking trails and an abundance of shops and eateries, it’s an interesting base for visitors to Denbighshire. Beach lovers can head to Abergele (8 miles) or the larger resorts of Colwyn Bay or Prestatyn (both within 14 miles).

This place in North Wales was fantastic! The house was super clean and well-equipped. We've seen a lot of the UK, but this tops the list. Definitely coming back, highly recommend!
Emma
We loved this cosy holiday home, perfect for quick getaways. It’s easy to find, close to main roadsand the garden with hot tub was a real highlight. Would definitely stay again!
Emily Carter
The owners are really friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. The house is beautifully decorated and super high-spec, with everything you need for a comfy stay. We loved the private rear garden, perfect for relaxing or eating outsideand the hot tub was a real treat. The downstairs double bedroom with en suite is lovelyand the upstairs bedroom is simply stunning-huge bed and a lovely bathroom, though no toilet upstairs. It’s a great base for exploring North Wales, away from busy roads. Only tiny gripe is the downstairs toilet-needed a torch at night, but otherwise, perfect!
Emma
Absolutely loved it, definitely worth all five stars!
Emma
The cottage was absolutely lovely, so well equipped and the owners were genuinely friendly. The master bedroom with that huge comfy bed made our stay really relaxing. Highly recommend!
Harriet
Honestly, this place was fantastic! The cottage is super stylish and modern, with everything we needed for a comfy stay. We loved how the owner has really thought of all the little details to help guests unwind. The hot tub was such a treat after days exploring Wales-it made the trip special. As someone who runs a cleaning business, I’m pretty picky about cleanlinessand I have to say, this place was spotless-really impressive! We couldn’t have asked for more, we’ll definitely be back.
Emma

We had a lovely week at the cottage with the parents. The beds were super comfyand the hot tub was a real treat after long days exploring. The kitchen and bathrooms were beautifully finishedand there’s plenty of space. It’s perfect for peace and quiet, yet close enough to pubs and town trips. We’d definitely come back!

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage in North Wales. It had all the modern gadgets we could ask for, making our stay super comfy. The outdoor seating was a lovely spot to relaxand the hot tub was just what we needed after a busy day. The location was great, close to coastal townsand the host was very friendly.
Harriet
We had a lovely stay! The house was spot-on, with all the gadgets you'd want in a kitchen - really well equipped. The host was super friendly and welcoming. The only thing we didn’t realise was that the upstairs wet room didn’t have a toilet; it’s downstairs instead. Not a biggie though, didn’t spoil our fun at all. Would definitely stay again!
